A woman was stabbed several times at a home on Jacob Frankhof in Amsterdam's Slotermeer district after emergency services were called at about 8.45am. She was taken to hospital.

Police described the incident as domestic-related. A man reported to a police station and was arrested as a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
