Director Sofia Coppola completed a documentary about the making of her 2006 costume drama Marie Antoinette after her mother died. Her mother had filmed Coppola at Versailles in 2005 during production of the film.

The documentary focuses on Coppola’s experience making the film, including her efforts to preserve a female perspective.
