Police found fireworks at FC Dordrecht’s stadium on the Krommedijk before the evening match against NAC. Defence explosive-disposal personnel identified them as smoke bombs, which were deactivated and removed; police also began searching the stadium for additional items.

The stadium’s centre spot was also stolen. One report said it may have involved NAC supporters, but this had not been established. NAC supporters were due to travel to Dordrecht only by organised bus transport under measures already in place for the match.
