South African rugby player Siya Kolisi trained with members of Amsterdam student rugby club ASRV Ascrum at Sportpark De Eendracht in Nieuw-West while spending a rest period in the city. Coach Michael Maytham, who had previously worked with Kolisi at the Stormers, invited him to join the session.

The club said 75 players took part and about 300 people watched. Kolisi gave players advice, joined in with the club song and greeted the participants afterwards. His signed, muddy Stormers shirt is to be framed and displayed in the clubhouse.
