Bella van der Toorn, a resident of Rijswijk, has reportedly been fighting for two years against a high water bill that she says results from a central meter in her building. She pays €432 a year for water as a single person and has displayed a banner at her flat protesting the situation.

The dispute has not been resolved, according to the account.
