Simon Fortuyn, the youngest brother of politician Pim Fortuyn, recalled their relationship in an interview with Radio Rijnmond nearly 25 years after Pim Fortuyn was killed in 2002. He described Pim as an outsider within the family but said they had a special relationship, as did Pim and Simon’s wife, Jolanda.

Simon Fortuyn, 71, also spoke about Jolanda, who died the previous month. He said Pim had already imagined how things would later develop, but that events turned out differently.
