Shots were fired from a passing car at the asylum seekers' centre on Gravendijk in Albergen during the night from Sunday to Monday. The building's façade was damaged. Police and the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers said heavy fireworks may have been involved, while reports also suggested an alarm gun was used.
