Ruijtenberg Shipyard and Nieuwenhuijsen Scheepsbouw in Raamsdonksveer and Geertruidenberg are opening their doors on Saturday for Inland Navigation Day. The shipyards have been building vessels on the Donge for about 120 years, but many local residents reportedly do not know what takes place behind their gates.

The event will give visitors an opportunity to see the shipyards from inside.
