A 51-year-old man from Assen denied sexually abusing two underage boys. He said he had been falsely accused by the alleged victims, their parents and elders of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and claimed that elders had forged documents.

The prosecution maintains that he abused the two boys. One report said that one of the boys was from the municipality of Weststellingwerf.
