Severe storms hit Brazil’s Santa Catarina state on Wednesday. In the western city of Chapecó, strong winds tore away part of the airport terminal’s metal entrance structure and damaged windows. Flights were suspended until Friday, and a red alert was issued across the state because of the storms.
