A 32-year-old motorcyclist from Schiedam was sentenced to 240 hours of community service for causing a fatal crash during a street race in Lelystad in 2024. The victim was an 18-year-old man who had also taken part in the drift race. The defendant was ordered to pay €37,000 in compensation to the victim’s parents.
