Sentencing demands in Woudenberg child abuse case
◆2 sources
Prosecutors sought a 30-year prison sentence and detention under a hospital order for a man, and a 20-year prison sentence and the same measure for a woman, both from Woudenberg. They were suspected of sexually abusing and drugging young children over several years; one report said the children were lured with gifts.
The demanded sentences were described as exceptionally high. One report said the court is unlikely to impose the full sentences sought.
