Malaysian customs seized AI chips worth 49.5 million ringgit, about €11 million, in a suspected smuggling attempt at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The seizure took place two weeks earlier.

The cargo consisted of 30 server units that were to be transported to another Asian country. Malaysian authorities blocked the attempted transit.
