Royal Schiphol Group acquired an 80 percent stake in Maastricht Aachen Airport by buying a further 40 percent from the province of Limburg for €4 million. Schiphol had previously held 40 percent, while Limburg held 60 percent of the airport in Beek.

A single report said Schiphol also plans to invest €33 million in the airport in the coming years.
