Cambuur's turnaround coincided with Binder's scoring run

1 source

SC Cambuur began the Eredivisie season with four consecutive defeats but had gone six matches unbeaten by Saturday, when it defeated Willem II 1–6 in Tilburg. The result was described as Cambuur's biggest-ever victory in the Eredivisie and left the club tenth with 12 points. The turnaround coincided with Nicolas Binder becoming a starter. The 24-year-old Austrian scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season against Willem II. Binder had made 13 appearances in the previous season, 11 as a substitute, without scoring, and a transfer had been planned in the summer. After that move did not happen, he stayed with Cambuur and later made his first start of the season against Telstar. Trainer Johan Plat said Binder was now fit and working hard for the team.
