Saudi state oil group Saudi Aramco reported higher profit in the third quarter, helped by a sharp rise in oil prices amid the continuing war in the Middle East. The company also benefited from high refining margins on products including petrol and diesel.

Aramco’s installations remain subject to regular attacks by Houthi rebels from Yemen.
