ANWB and the Consumers’ Association warned of serious safety defects found in recent tests of the Britax Römer Baby-Safe Pro with Vario Base 5Z and the Axkid Minikid Core. In one model, a belt came loose during an impact test, causing the test dummy to be thrown from the seat. The Axkid Minikid Core is subject to a recall, and users are urgently advised not to use it.
