Ryanair cost cuts over higher fuel costs
◆3 sources
Ryanair reported a 15% fall in first-half profit to €2.15 billion, from €2.54 billion a year earlier. It attributed the decline to sharply higher kerosene prices and lower ticket prices.
The Irish airline said it will reduce costs to partly offset an expected €2 billion increase in fuel costs next year caused by higher kerosene prices.
