King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William visited Aberfan in Wales, where a major mine disaster occurred 60 years ago and killed 144 people. They were expected to speak with survivors, victims’ relatives and others involved, and to visit the memorial to those who died. The tragedy is commemorated in Aberfan.
