Roy Donders and Michelle Bibi announced in a joint Instagram video that they had separated after nearly five years together. They said they had discussed problems in their relationship for months and had not been on the same page lately. Both said there was no conflict or another person involved.

They decided to live separately, while remaining close to one another and continuing to do things together for their children so that their lives change as little as possible. They said it is not yet clear whether the separation is final and asked for privacy.
