A teenager was assaulted and robbed by a group of five or six people on Sunday evening in Almere’s Muziekwijk district. Police said he encountered the group on Glinkastraat at about 8:50 p.m. and tried to flee along the Strawinskypad toward Almere Muziekwijk station, but was caught.

The group hit him and showed him a firearm, after which he handed over an undisclosed amount of money. Police are seeking witnesses and camera footage.
