Rob Visser, 59, who appeared on Married at First Sight, suffered a heart attack about a month after the programme’s recordings. His planned marriage on the show had been cancelled at the last minute after his prospective bride withdrew.

Visser said he feared for his life during the night of the heart attack and described himself as fortunate to have recovered. He is now drawing attention to the Heart Foundation.
