Ritzo Holtman, born in 1951, submitted a photograph of his mother, Atje Prins (1928–2022), and his father, Sijbo Holtman (1925–2009), for a feature in which readers send in pictures of their parents. The accompanying account described Prins as looking for a husband who would give her room for her own career and portrayed her as ahead of her time.
