Rijksmuseum Meermanno in The Hague will rent the adjacent historic building on the Prinsessegracht for almost €5,000 a month. The 300-square-metre property will house a study centre and a depot for the museum’s collection.

The expansion will create more space for visitors and activities in the museum’s existing buildings. Neighbours are reportedly pleased with the plans.
