The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is displaying two Willem de Kooning paintings, Woman I (1950–1952) and Woman and Bicycle (1952–1953), in a dedicated room in the Gallery of Honour beside Rembrandt’s The Night Watch. The display runs from 9 October to 17 January and accompanies an exhibition devoted to the Dutch-American painter.
