Richard Fiets from Hollandscheveld acquired restaurant De Krokodil when he bought a site with a petrol station in Krommenie two years ago. The Murillo Elhardt family is ending its 58-year involvement with the restaurant, and Fiets is looking for a new operator. Fiets is reported to have 150 petrol stations and one roadside restaurant.
