John Eisenberg, head of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, and federal prosecutor Jason Reding Quiñones resigned from the US Department of Justice, according to department head Todd Blanche. Quiñones had overseen major cases for the Trump administration, including a case against former Cuban president Raúl Castro.
One report said the resignations were linked to dissatisfaction over a lack of charges against Trump opponents.
