Residents of Asselsestraat in Apeldoorn have expressed concern about road safety, saying the street sometimes feels like a racetrack. They have suggested installing a stop sign at a corner.

The municipality of Apeldoorn says no additional measures are being considered and maintains that the road itself is not the source of the danger.
