A resident of Wonderwoods reportedly objected to plans for the new Merwedeline tram line, which would be built about 10 metres from the building’s façade. The resident was supported by the complex’s owner. The fair and events operator and musical producer Stage also reportedly considered the plans unacceptable in their current form. The project is valued at €1.8 billion.
