Firefighters and an animal ambulance rescued a young swan that had become tangled in fishing line in the Jura in Doetinchem during the night from Thursday to Friday. The rescue required several attempts and involved about 15 emergency workers.

After nearly three hours, the swan was freed from the water with help from a local resident who lent a water bike.
