The walk-in centre run by the Different Colors foundation in Amsterdam-Zuidoost has reopened after closing indefinitely at the end of September. The centre provides single homeless mothers and their children with showers, food, diapers, clean clothing and support in dealing with agencies.

A board member had cited renovation and reorganisation as reasons for the closure. The municipality and the Zuidoost district held talks with the foundation, but the reason the centre was able to reopen remains unclear.
