Relic attributed to Pancratius inaugurated in Tubbergen

A bone relic recently found under the altar of a church in Reutum was inaugurated on Sunday morning at the Pancratius Basilica in Tubbergen. It is attributed to Saint Pancratius, who is said to have been beheaded more than 1,700 years ago at the age of 14 because of his faith. The relic’s identity cannot be established with certainty.
