Redevelopment of Winschoten town centre is reportedly gaining momentum. The plans include starting construction of the Winschoten town hall, redeveloping the former Phaff wine factory and addressing the Lucas site. The changes are expected to make the town centre look substantially different within five years, with support from the province of Groningen.
