A campaign on domestic violence was followed by a record number of calls and chats to Safe Home about partner violence. The contacts concerned people seeking advice about emotional abuse by a partner or former partner, as well as possible bystanders.

Safe Home received a call or chat about every 15 minutes. The reports indicated that the taboo around discussing this abuse appears to have weakened, while much of the problem remains unseen.
