Ralph Sonnenberg, who led window-decoration company Hunter Douglas and its Luxaflex brand for more than 50 years, has died aged 92. He built Luxaflex into a market leader in window decoration and amassed an estimated fortune of €7 billion.
Sonnenberg largely stayed out of the public eye. He was described as a modest chairman by factory employees, despite his wealth.
