A resident of Putten, Ronald Kingma, opposed a large LED screen displaying daily changing Bible texts at the local Restored Reformed Church. The court ruled that he was not personally affected by the screen and therefore had no right to object to it.

Kingma’s objection was consequently rejected, according to the ruling.
