PSV said plans for a major expansion and renovation of the Philips Stadion are becoming more likely. General manager Marcel Brands said he now puts the chance of work beginning next year at more than 50 percent, compared with less than 50 percent last year. The stadium currently has 35,000 seats and the preferred plan would raise capacity to at least 52,000. PSV recently released images of its preferred design. Financial director Jaap van Baar reported a €6.6 million profit for the 2025/26 season and said equity had risen to €55 million.
