Public mounting of wolf Bram at Naturalis

Naturalis in Leiden publicly mounted the dead wolf GW3237m, commonly known as Bram, during a wolf-themed day. Visitors watched the taxidermy work, and the animal can now be seen at the museum. The wolf had been shot at the Utrechtse Heuvelrug the previous year after authorities granted permission.

Animal Rebellion protested against the event. Demonstrators marched from Leiden station to the museum, where police stopped them in the entrance hall, according to a single report. Protesters displayed banners and disrupted lectures; one visitor entered the event, bared his upper body and knelt in front of the wolf, asking to take its place. The action was reported to have remained peaceful.
