Political parties Pro and GBLV/Municipal Interests in the Leidschendam-Voorburg municipal council proposed that the station Den Haag Mariahoeve be renamed NS station Mall of the Netherlands. They want the municipal executive to investigate whether the name change is feasible, arguing that it could encourage visitors to the Netherlands’ largest shopping centre to travel there by train more easily.
