Projected rise in skin cancer diagnoses over the next twenty years
◆1 source
The Integral Cancer Center estimates that the annual number of skin cancer diagnoses will rise by almost 60% over the next twenty years. It expects skin cancer to be the most common form of cancer among both men and women by then. The total annual number of new cancer diagnoses is projected to increase by almost a quarter, mainly because of population growth and ageing, with skin cancer expected to be affected more strongly.
