Prosecutors sought prison terms of seven and nine years for two main suspects accused of involvement in three drug laboratories in Nieuwlande, Brucht and Bruchterveld, in the municipality of Hardenberg. One suspect is a 70-year-old director of a large Zwolle real-estate company.

The prosecution alleged that the developer played a decisive role in setting up the three labs.
