Two men from Hoogeveen and a man from Emmer-Compascuum were sentenced to prison for large-scale refund fraud involving Amazon. The fraud involved counterfeit returns.

One report put Amazon’s losses at about $2.5 million, while another described the amount as hundreds of thousands of euros.
