A 72-year-old dentist from Wilrijk was sentenced in Antwerp to seven years in prison for sexually abusing dozens of patients. Reports described the offences as sexual assault and rape.

Several reports said he admitted to having a throat fetish. One report said the abuse continued for 25 years, while another said searches found videos of him masturbating.
