A 22-year-old man from Arnhem was sentenced to five months in prison, with half of the term suspended, for his involvement in the fraud of a 76-year-old woman from Pesse. A fake police officer deceived the woman early last year, after which €2,663 was taken from her bank account or card and jewellery worth about €2,600 was bought.
