Preparations were under way at Sint Barbara cemetery in Utrecht for All Souls’ Day, described as the busiest day of the year for cemeteries. Nico de Bree, 40, and his colleagues were completing the final preparations. De Bree had not previously been involved with cemeteries, but had now worked there for 18 years, and the work had changed his view of life.
