Evangelist Tom de Wal was due to hold his first prayer healing service in Roosendaal the following Saturday at the Otium Hotel on De Stok. He claims that diseases can be cured through prayer and is described as controversial in connection with those claims. The municipality of Roosendaal is taking no action against the service. Acting mayor Erik van Merrienboer said he regretted that the meeting was taking place.
