Police are investigating whether the attack on a man with a corrosive liquid at the Weegbladtuin trailer park in Breda is connected to the arson of a vehicle there about a month later. The man was injured in the September incident, suffered burns and was taken to hospital; police said the liquid was probably acid.

The vehicle was set on fire near a home at Weegbladtuin on the night of 23 October. The possible link remains under investigation, and police are seeking witnesses to either incident.
