US prediction platform Polymarket has gone to court in The Hague to challenge a Dutch ban on its services. The Dutch Gambling Authority ruled in February that the platform was offering gambling without the required licence and ordered it to stop operating in the Netherlands. Polymarket complied, but after the deadline, and was required to pay a €420,000 penalty. The court case remains pending.
