Justice Minister Van Weel addressed a disagreement over untreated police reports and acknowledged that the Court of Auditors had been right. The police will reassess some of the more than 10,000 reports and notifications from 2024 that had not been handled. Reports and notifications concerning attempted murder and manslaughter will be investigated first, while serious sexual-offence cases will also be given priority.
