Police units and firefighters, including a hazardous-substances adviser, were deployed on Wednesday morning at the site of former waste processor Complexion, also referred to as Complexie, on the Helmkamp in Dinxperlo. The grounds were sealed off with police tape after an alarm was raised over a possible elevated mercury reading. Police later said that no hazardous substances had been measured at the industrial site and described the alarm as false. Rehabilitation work has resumed.
